Perhaps, one of the biggest innovations in Tween fashion is the "celebrity craze". More than ever, tweens are turning to celebrities for fashion inspirations. A number of celebs have launched individual lines that appeal to their fan demographic. Some of the most popular apparel lines for teen girls include: Jessica Simpson, Hilary Duff, The Jonas Brothers, and Miley Cyrus. I love that these wholesome celebrity role models are able to influence the way that tweens dress (and provide their styles at affordable prices).
Jessica Simpson
A few years ago, Jessica Simpson launched a shoe and accessory collection under her name, Jessica Simpson. More recently, her collection has exploded to include not only shoes, but apparel, swim wear, outerwear, and luggage (coming soon!). This line is especially impressive because the designs are all about Jessica. Hilary Duff
Beginnng in March 2004, Hilary Introduced her first clothing line, "Stuff by Hilary Duff", that made initial appearances in Target in the United States, Kmart in Australia, Zellers in Canada, and Edgars Stores in South Africa. Since then, the apparel line has exploded into a collection that carries not only apparel, but also furniture, accessories, and fragrances. Miley Cyrus and Max Azria
MIley Cyrus has had a recent collaboration with fashion legond Maz Azria (known for BCBG and Herve Leger) to design an affordable, fashionable clothing line for Wal-Mart. This collection is adorable for teenage girls. This collection would THRIVE in Europe. They are crazy about some Miley here!!

The Jonas Brothers
Most recently the Jonas brothers have launched a new clothing line (especially for the back to school season). The line is a collection of "preppy" inspired piece that have had young girls swooning everywhere. The collection includes plaid belted shorts, woven shirts, denim skirts, leggings, ruffled polo shirts and of course their signature scarves.
